With just a few days until showtime in Eidfjord I have been asked «are you winning Norseman?» a lot lately.
The «correct» answer is that my training has been good and I will do my best, but my competitors are strong and it will be the one who has the best day who will win.
My competitors are strong. Hans Christian Tungesvik has improved a lot and have Norseman as his A-race, Kristian Grue was strong on my tail in Halv-Fet, Marius Elvdal won IM 70.3 Haugesund and Graeme Stewart is doing a comeback on the course. There is also a lot of other very fit foreign guys I honestly don’t know much about.
To tell the truth I don’t care about the «correct» answer either. In my head, I am a clear favourite to win. My fitness is at an all-time high, my equipment is better than ever and mentally I am in it to dominate. Slowly but steadily I will rip the field apart with every pedal stroke and every running stride. I want to win with 30 minutes. I don’t actually care about time either. I just want to push the pedal to the metal from the second the ferry blows its horn until I cross the finish line at Gaustadtoppen. Try to beat me those who can 😉
The race can be followed with live video, GPS-tracking and commentating at Norseman Live 2019.

Herlig innstilling Allan.
Jeg står på Gaustadtoppen og heier deg i mål!
Go strong!!
