Ready for the 24 hour challenge

Tomorrow at 9 AM CET (roughly) I will start my 24 hour distance challenge. Riding as far as possible within that time. The obvious goal is to bet the Norwegian distance record of 767 km, but I want to go at least 800km.

With a super fast triathlon bike, aero clothing and equipment it should be easy peas. Somehow I suspect that it will be very hard. The course is fairly flat but with 50hm each 10km it would amount to 4000hm after 800k. The tarmac is not perfect and the weather forecast predicts both rain and wind.

You can follow my race in this link were I will pass a timing mat each 20,8km. https://racetracker.no/events/2020/allan-hovda-24h-challenge/

The blue lightning 😁
Bispeveien – this course I will be riding back and forth
What to eat when riding 24 hours? I honestly don’t know, but try to go for real food before turning into gels when my stomach says no. After that it’s coke all the way 😂

  1. Strong performance on the 24 hour challenge!

I see on your Instagram amd other places that you claim to have won Ironman Haugesund. Is this correct? I can not find that anywhere… 70.3 right, but not the full distance.
